Lactic acid bacteria occur naturally as part of our colonic micro flora.
OmniVegan® Biotic Balance has a high content of viable lactic acid bacteria and Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides.

The lactic acid bacteria in OmniVegan® Biotic Balance are carefully selected on the basis of their effectiveness and acid resistance, so that they can with stand stomach acid and bile, thereby arriving intact to the colon, where they have their effect.

Recommended daily dose: 1-2 capsules 2 times per day – preferably as a prelude to a meal.

OmniVegan® Biotic Balance contains carefully selected strains of lactic acid bacteria.

In addition, the product contains Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (FOS), which help to stimulate the lactic acid bacteria contained in the product. Studies have shown FOS to stimulate the growth of other beneficial bacteria in the colon.

OmniVegan® Biotic Balance does not contain lactose – the concept of lactic acid bacteria has no relation to milk.

Lactic acid bacteria are sensitive to antibiotics. This product should therefore not be ingested less than 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
