    Calcium source in OmniVegan® Multi

The calcium source in vegan multivitamin OmniVegan Multi is organically bound calcium from sea algae. This source is also used in our other multivitamins. It provides better bioavailability. At the same time, the calcium source contains a little magnesium. Whereby the magnesium source in OmniVegan Multi is a blend - with magnesium oxide.

    With phospholipids

Sunflower Lecithin is now also included in our vegan multivitamin, similar to other multivitamins from Nordic Nutraceuticals. Sunflower Lecithin contains useful phospholipids that contribute to the efficient utilization of the other nutrients.

    Vegan Vitamin D3

OmniVegan Multi contains a vegan source of vitamin D3 from specially selected wild-grown lichen. Lichen consists of a fungus and an algae that co-operate in a form of symbiosis.

Vitamin A in the form of retinyl

OmniVegan Multi contains a direct source of vitamin A. This ensures that the vitamin does not first have to be converted in the body, but can be instead absorbed directly. Some research suggests that some sub-populations may have more difficulty converting beta-carotene to vitamin A, which is why retinyl acetate has been chosen as the source of vitamin A in OmniVegan Multi.

B12-vitamin in the form of Methylcobalamin

As a vegetarian and vegan, it is essential to ensure that one obtains enough vitamin B12. OmniVegan Multi contains Methylcobalamin. This is a more easily-absorbed and more biologically active form of vitamin B12 than the traditional form Cyanocobalamin. Methylcobalamin works more actively, and dosage requirements are therefore lower than for traditional vitamin B12.

OmniVegan Multi includes vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K and the minerals calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, iodine, manganese, chromium and selenium.
