OmniVegan® Biotic Balance contains carefully selected strains of lactic acid bacteria. In addition, the product contains Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (FOS), which help to stimulate the lactic acid bacteria contained in the product. Studies have shown FOS to stimulate the growth of other beneficial bacteria in the colon.

OmniVegan® Biotic Balance does not contain lactose - the concept of lactic acid bacteria has no relation to milk. Lactic acid bacteria are sensitive to antibiotics. This product should therefore not be ingested less than 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
